This year again, on November 22, 2014, the German Society of Montreal invites to its traditional Christmas Bazaar, that attracted over 1 000 visitors last year. The Christmas Bazaar offers a wide selection of German dishes, cakes and beverages, such as the hot mulled wine typical for this time and season.

November 2014 lädt die Deutsche Gesellschaft zu Montréal wieder herzlich ein zu ihrem traditionellen Weihnachtsmarkt, der letztes Jahr mehr als 1000 Besucher angezogen hat. Der Weihnachtsmarkt bietet eine große Auswahl an deutschen Gerichten, Kuchen und Getränken, wie z.B. den für diese Jahreszeit typischen Glühwein. Darüber hinaus werden auch zahlreiche Weihnachtsartikel angeboten, wie Weihnachtsschmuck, Plätzchen und Geschenkartikel.
Une fois de plus cette année, la Société allemande de Montréal vous donne rendez-vous le 22 novembre prochain à son traditionnel bazar de Noël qui a attiré plus de 1000 visiteurs l'an dernier. On y trouve une grande variété de mets allemands, des gâteaux, des boissons telles que le vin chaud, si typique pour ce temps de l’année.

On Friday, May 30, 2013, Dr Gisela Steinle represented the German Society at the Abitur Graduation (Grade 12) at the Alexander von Humboldt German International School (AvH). She congratulated the students in the name of the Society for having successfully completed their studies. Dr Steinle also highlighted the long cooperation between the school and the Society.
Many of the students know Dr Steinle personally as she was the vice principal of AvH until 2012.

Montréal is home to Canada's first German foreign school. The K to 12 school offers a curriculum meeting both German and local requirements leading to a Québec highschool diploma and the German International Abitur.
Classes are taught primairly in German, however students have the advantage of learning all three languages (German, French, English) fluently. The school's small class sizes offer an optmial learning environment to its students.
Since 1962, the Goethe-Insitut Montréal has been building cultural and language bridges between Germany and Canada. The institute organizes an array of cultural events in Montréal related to Germany and the German language.
A core element of their services includes German language courses for all levels and age groups.
Furthermore the Goethe-Institut offers a library and e-library (onleihe) service with German books, magazines, films and newspapers.
The DSQ language schools form a network of German language schools offering accredited German-language courses on Saturdays. There are three schools located in the Greater Montréal Area and one in Québec City.
