Simon Martin und Ensemble Musikfabrik setzen ihre Zusammenarbeit fort und präsentieren eine neue Verbindung von Klängen, die sich aus Obertönen von Blechblasinstrumenten und Elektronik zusammensetzt. Das Werk Musique d’art (2021) bringt die vier Instrumente der Blechbläsergruppe des Ensemble Musikfabrik zusammen: Trompete, Horn, Posaune und Euphonium. Die Klänge der Bläser entwickeln sich entsprechend des elektronischen Soundtracks. Gleichzeitig beeinflussen die Musiker die Klangpalette der Akkorde, die sich in einer unendlichen Kontinuität abwechselnd in Spannung und Entspannung entfalten und verflechten. Der Klang der Instrumente wird von den Lautsprechern verzögert wiedergegeben und zusätzlich durch Sinuswellen verdoppelt, die spiegelbildlich mitschwingen, mal als perfekte Schallreflexion, mal leicht verzerrt. Das Ergebnis ist eine reichhaltige und allumfassende Klangtextur.

Simon Martin et l’Ensemble Musikfabrik renouent leur collaboration pour présenter une nouvelle alchimie sonore composée d’harmoniques produites par des cuivres, et de l’électronique. L’œuvre Musique d’art (2021) rassemble les quatre instruments de la section de cuivre de l’Ensemble Musikfabrik : trompette, cor, trombone et euphonium. Les musiciens évoluent en symbiose au gré des transformations de couleurs harmoniques qui constituent la trame sonore. Tour à tour, leurs interventions influencent la trajectoire des accords qui se déploient et s’enchevêtrent, alternant tension et détente en une suite de variations aux perspectives infinies.

Simon Martin and Ensemble Musikfabrik continue their collaboration and present a new combination of sounds composed of harmonics of brass instruments and electronics. The work Musique d'art (2021) brings together the four instruments of the brass section of Ensemble Musikfabrik: Trumpet, Horn, Trombone and Euphonium. The sounds of the wind instruments evolve according to the electronic soundtrack. At the same time, the musicians influence the sound palette of the chords, which alternately unfold and intertwine in an infinite continuity of tension and relaxation. The sound of the instruments is reproduced by the loudspeakers in a delayed manner and additionally doubled by sine waves that resonate in mirror image, sometimes as a perfect reflection of sound, sometimes slightly distorted. The result is a rich and all-encompassing sound texture.
